Brisbane volunteer days 2022

Our monthly Vollie Days are social mornings where we work together on various projects to ensure that bereaved families are well supported. We'd love to welcome you into our beautiful circle for a catch-up and a friendly morning tea. They are usually held on the third Thursday of the month.

Please RSVP to [email protected] for COVID safety reasons, and so that we can notify you of any cancellations.

Our monthly Vollie Days are back and will be held on the third Tuesday of every month.

Older Loss

In the late 1990’s an Older Loss group was established by Sands Victoria to bring together the parents of babies who died prior to the early 1980’s, when hospitals took stillborn babies, and those who died as a newborn, away and buried unknown locations. Parents were not able to see or hold their babies.

Our online support roles can be performed from home at a time convenient to you during our peak awareness & remembrance campaigns
Volunteer parent supporter

Our services volunteers provide peer-to-peer support to bereaved parents who contact Sands by phone, email, or live chat & may also facilitate local face-to-face support groups in their area.
